Parkour

A training discipline using movement that developed from military obstacle course training. People aim to get from one point to another in a complex environment, without assistive equipment and in the fastest and most efficient way possible. Parkour includes running, climbing, swinging, vaulting, jumping and rolling.

Parkour will involve practicing jumping over cylinders and boxes using vaulting techniques. Children will also learn how to do parkour rolls and sometimes wall runs. They will also learn how to jump between bars using swinging motion. Movements will always involve control, balance and stability. Eventually children can work up to walking on the P bar walking on their hands.
