Our Sessions:

PlayGym
These classes give parents and caregivers the opportunity to participate with their children in active play, whilst developing all areas of their body and mind.
The classes are full of activities to encourage brain development, balance, gross motor skills, vision and development of fundamental movement patterns.
We offer several sessions during the week, all the same ability level and structure with the exception of our Monday sessions, which is focussed on building more independance and transitioning to our GFA sessions.
Sesssion times may change between terms, please check our timetable above for current sessions.

GFA
These classes encourage our gymnasts to develop skills independently while under the supervision and guidance of adult and teenage coaches, with a play to learn approach and use apparatus such as, beam, floor, bars, vault, rings and more.
The class plans are based on the 7 Fundamental Movements Patterns involved in all levels of gymnastics (Spring, Rotation, Locomotion, Landings, Statics, Swing, Manipulative Skills).
These classes are great for beginners or for gymnasts carrying on through the programme from the previous age band session.
There may also be the opportunity to work towards GymFun Badges.
Session times may change between terms, please check our timetable above for current sessions.

GFA 16+ adults - expressions of interest (NEW SESSION)

Flex & Learn - expressions of interest (NEW SESSION)
Follows a similar structure to our GFA sessions but is specifically for our Homeschool community.

Rhythmic - expressions of interest (NEW SESSION)
Rhythmic gymnastics is a beautiful, athletic sport that merges carefully executed and choreographed routines combining dance and gymnastics with the use of apparatus (ribbon, ball, clubs, hoop and rope) performed in time to music.
Rhythmic Gymnastics promotes coordination and flexibility as well as developing full body strength, it also encourages pride and confidence in the gymnasts as they master their routines and new skills.

Tumbling
This class is for gymnasts who have already mastered handstands, forward and backward rolls, cartwheels and roundoffs, and are wanting to move their tumble skills to the next level.

Parkour - expressions of interest
Parkour is where the athlete attempts to get from one point to another in the most fastest and efficient way possible, utilising gymnastic and acrobatic skills to navigate through obstacles. Some skills include, flipping, running, climbing, vaulting, rolling etc. There is also the opportunity to attend recreational competitions during the season.
This class is aimed at children 8-12yrs with some gymnastics experience.

Competitive - Invitation Only
This is for our gymnasts that want to take their gymnastics to the next level, by adding in 3 - 5 competitions throughout the year.
These classes focus on conditioning, skills and routines and perfecting these for performance at competitions.
There are multiple levels to work through at a pace that is matched to the individual.
A commitment to competing in at least 3 competitions throughout the year is expected, there is also a large financial commitment for competitive gymnastics.
